The Neoception® Digital Twin Infrastructure (DTI) is a platform designed to merge proprietary product data from multiple sources into a standardized digital twin and provide it for a variety of vendor and cross-industry applications. A key aspect of the DTI is that digital twins are only created when they are specifically requested. This on-demand creation, based on pre-built templates and specific mapping rules, avoids duplicate data storage and ensures that users always have access to the most up-to-date information.
The DTI can either be operated by the customer itself or offered as a SaaS solution by Neoception GmbH.
The implementation of the DTI comprises four levels:
The Connection Layer integrates various customer-specific data sources. At the core of this layer are two main tasks: Query relevant product hierarchy information, which is decisive for the selection of the appropriate template. Enrich this template with specific values.
In the standardization layer, the focus is on harmonizing different data formats and structures to ensure consistent data integration.
Digital Twin Templates are developed in the DTI Modeling Layer, which are used for asset description. Each template is composed of submodel templates that represent different aspects of the asset.
The application layer of the DTI provides various applications that use the standardized data and models. These applications are designed for both internal use and multi-vendor use, enabling a wide range of applications and effective support for different business processes and requirements.
