The VariMotion multi-axis system has a modular structure and consists of a motion controller and several servo controllers.
The motion controller can according to the requirements be freely configured with different function modules.
To achieve maximum flexibility and functionality in the design of automation processes, the motion controller has a powerful integrated controller.
The main task of the motion controller is to coordinate the motion of the servo axes connected via the vNET.
This makes it possible to realize complex multi-axis motion sequences with the highest precision and minimum response times.
Network connection
To enable the use of VariMotion in different plant topologies, several modules are available for the established fieldbuses and networks.

Ethernet TCP/IP
The network interface also contains a connection for Ethernet TCP/IP. This can be used for programming and it is also possible to access multi-port variables and objects with the pNET protocol.
