The COBOTTA PRO 900 and COBOTTA PRO 1300 are currently the most powerful robots on the collaborative robot market and open up new dimensions for human-robot collaboration (HRC). The payload of 6 or 12 kg, the outstanding TCP speed of 2100 mm/s or 2500 mm/s, and the high repeatability of +- 0.03 mm or +- 0.04 mm are performance features that make industrial processes in the MRK segment more efficient and productive. The series complements DENSO’s first collaborative robot, COBOTTA, which was already successfully launched in 2018.
Like the compact-portable COBOTTA, the COBOTTA PRO models feature an inherently safe design and multiple functional safety features – thanks in part to continuous, sensor-based monitoring of torques and speeds of all axes. With the help of additional safety scanners, the operating speed can also be increased to the level of industrial robots. If a human approaches, the speed is reduced to safely avoid endangering the human in the event of a collision. As an option a touch-sensitive protective enclosure with integrated, highly sensitive sensors can further increase the speed in a human-robot collaboration or sporadic interaction.
