fruitcore robotics is rolling out a new software update for its intelligent HORST industrial robots. The update enables users, from beginners to experienced robot experts, to intuitively program complex paths in the graphical user interface of the horstFX control software. The feature, previously limited to textual programming, significantly reduces setup times across a variety of industrial processes.
The innovation “Complex Paths in Graphical Programming” makes the automation of path-controlled processes, such as those found in applications such as gluing, painting, assembling and joining, easier and faster than ever before. By simply navigating the graphical user interface, the user can intuitively program any complex path, be it a path or curved movement or a contour, in just a few minutes. This time saving allows the entire application to be set up within a few hours – even for users without coding knowledge or specific expert knowledge.
Increased process reliability
“Complex Paths in Graphical Programming” not only improves the user-friendliness of automation with the digital robots from fruitcore robotics, but also offers numerous advantages in terms of process reliability. Processes with complex movements can now be better visualized, making process monitoring easier and error detection and correction faster. This leads to noticeably higher system availability. The function also serves as an effective tool for collision avoidance. Instead of having to laboriously learn a lot of support points to avoid an obstacle, a complex path can be defined that avoids obstacles. This increases process reliability and saves the user a lot of valuable time in demanding programming environments.
