MIP Technology launched the magnetic information platform. With the magnetic ID labels, a reliable track & trace solution can be implemented in harsh environments.
The magnetic ID is machine readable and extremely robust. Ambient temperatures of 450 °C are no problem. This was evaluated using hot-dip galvanizing as an example.
Furthermore, chemical-thermal influences in the rubber industry are an interesting field of application mould management.
The magnetic information platform consists of the ID tag, the scanner and software. The latter can be integrated into IoT solutions via MQTT.
Another segment is magnetic security features. These enable a third dimension in labels and are extremely difficult to counterfeit.
